Myrtle Cottage

Another small Family home for your sims. Myrtle Cottage only has 2 bedrooms, but if you like, you can make acces to the first floor by a ladder or a staircase and take the squaremetres up there into use. I have chosen not to, I just wanted some height to the built in order to stay in the Dragon Valley Style.
This house also have 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a living/dining room. In the garden you can try to catch dinner in the charming private fish pond.

Mushroom House

Here´s a larger house for your sims. Spread on 3 floors it has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen diningroom and a livingroom. In the garden you´ll even find a workshop equipped with tools foralchemy and jewelcarving along with not less than two growing stations for herbs and vegetables and 2 bee hives. For fun and exercise your sims can take pleasure in the basketball platform.

Fruittree Cottage

Here´s an old cottage in Dragon Valley style for the small family with garden interests.
The house has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen/diningroom and a livingroom upstairs with entry to a nice balcony. There´s a garden with lots of herbs, vegetables and fruittrees.

Very idyllic, don´t you think

The house is only sparsely furnished, I like that for the Dragon Valley houses, but of course things will appear gradually when my family needs them as I guess they will in your game.
I have used no CC, but very likely stuff from all expansions untill University and this house has been built when my game was patched for Paradise Island even though the actual world has not been published yet so it´s only the patch!
Things that are not standard will be replaced as such, if you don´t own them.

Blueberry Cottage

Now here´s a nice Little house for a typical Dragon Valley Family.
I has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a livingroom and a large kirtchen/diningroom.
It´s but sparsely furnished, but you can of course make it more like your own.

Casa Carita

Sometimes you just need a house with lots of beds!
I´ve built Casa Carita for a group of young people who needed at place to stay before settleing more permanently.
I my game, I haven´t matched their personalities or anything, so some of them move out rather quickly, but that just gives space for others to move in.

Have a look at the two floors. I know it´s crazy that these overviewpic´s show winter when the sales photo shows summertime, but it may take a while to sell a house during these terrible years of global financial crisis, you know...

But of course you can be invited inside as well, heré´s the kitchen/diningroom

From one of the bedrooms

The livingroom
Fine tiles in the bathrooms

And from the lovely vegetable garden
 And a welcoming front

I suppose you can say it must be some privileeged young people who can afford to live in a place like this. They must have rich parents!

Casa Carita is built on a 20x30 lot. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen/diningroom, 1 livingroom and a smaller familyroom plus ofcourse a vegetable garden.

Casa Erbe

I love Monte Vista!
It´s a wonderful world and at the moment the only place for my sims to live. Part of the reason is probably that I like to have gardens, nectaries and nice fishing spots along with sims who share my interests, and Monte Vista is just perfect for that.
This time I´ve built a 2 bedroom villa for you. If you like, you can maybe expand the house as the first floor is only for the sake of appearances so far. I have tried not to economize too much with the interior decor, but there is still plenty of room for your own taste.
Have a look at Casa Erbe:

Here you can have a view from the top of the house, as it kindly raised it´s hat just for you

You´ll find a hall which also serves as an office

The diningroom is just part of the livingroom and you can see the kitchen through the two arches

I really hope the weather is warm, so that the baby doesn´t get cold on the tile floor

The two bathrooms are decorated with lovely mediterranian tiles

And certainly you can always have a cold drink on the terrasse

If you are not too busy in the vegetable gardens that is

The lot has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 livingroom with diningfacilities. Large vegetable garden and lots of space around the house for further improvement.
It´s a 40x30 lot and the price is around 61.000 simoleons

No CC has been used but most likely store-items along with stuff from all packages and expansions.

La Casa di Violetta

Unfortunately I can´t download La Casa di Violetta from the Exchange anymore, it says that an error occurs. Hopefully you don´t experience that. But if you do I´m sorry, I cant help it and I don´t even have a backup file for the house!! Stupid me!!

Hey everybody and a happy new year to you all!!

It´s been a while since my last lot, I know, but some times one just need a break.
And then here I am again with a freshly built family house in Monte Vista style.
I haven´t cared about the garden at all or internal decor besides furniture mainly because I´ve tried to keep the price of the build within reasonable limits. Well, still it´s not a starter, though. But for the younger family with a few kids it´ll do just nicely, and your family can add paintings and plants when they can afford it. In my game la Casa di Violetta is placed on the corner of Via Veronaville and Veronaroad. I haven´t succeeded in finding totally flat places for my lots in that world, so you may need to adjust a bit with the terrain-tool after downloading this house!
Have a look:
The house is built on a 20x30 lot and has 2½ bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 open kitchen/diningroom and a livingroom.

It is furnished for at family of two parents, two young children and a toddler, and of course a small dog.

No CC has been used, but very likely store items as well as stuff from all extensions and stuff packs

Kahytten

Kahytten is danish for The Cabin, which is what this cosy tropical den is called.
It´s built for an old sailor, Kurt Sønderstrøm, who would like to spend some lovely years of retirement along with his beloved friends, the dog, Tvebak and the parrot, Skipper, made by Mona Solstråle from the danish sims site: Sims 3 Byggeforum. Actually it´s my entry for the October challenge on the same site: "Build for a sim", and I wanted it to be warm and homey, full of nice memories from Kurt´s long life on the seven seas

Kurt doesn´t even bother getting dressed before he
hurries down to feed Skipper
Not exactly to enjoy the sunrise, huh
Kurt has brought lot´s of funny things home from all the destinations
he has visited through the years
If you´d like to see more pics go here

The house is built in Tiki style on a 20x20 lot and fully decorated
1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen with diningfacilities and 1 family room, as well as room for a dog and a bird. 1 marimekkopattern of mine used in the wallpaper, otherwise cc-free, but plenty of storeitems.
price: around 60.000 $

Søbrisen, the bourgeois

Some of you guys may be a bit lazy and prefer to buy furnished houses. Personally I would hate that, at least when we are talking real life, but for my sims I reckon their lives are so short, so.....
I alway use to complain about EA´s furniture being ugly and oldfashioned, but I have to say, downloading CC-free lots is way safer than places loaded with custom content. Besides it´s a lot easier to upload so you don´t have to be afraid about having forgotten to thank those who should be so.
I have furnished Søbrisen for you, absolutely CC-free. Have a look:

You can read all the specifications about the lot in the previous post
and if you´d like to download it, you can get it

Remember: No CC but plenty of store items that will be replaced if you don´t own them.

Søbrisen, another empty house ready to take over

Fejeeper at the TSR built the great house Seabreeze Loft for Lucky Palms.
I totally fell in love with her plan for a house and turned it into a solution for one of my own tropical paradises. Even the name I kind of adopted, though actually, I wonder what you´d call it in english when something is  translated into another language, directly and therefore kind of twaddled. Søbrisen means lake-breeze in danish, you see, not sea breeze.:)
Fejeeper´s house and my own are not that alike anymore though, but of course I want to credit her for her part of it.

Søbrisen is built on a 30x20 lot and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas one of which the one one the ground floor is connected to open kitchen and dining area. No interior decoration except for kitchen and bathrooms. Store items might have been used but no CC.

NB!!!One known issue though: Please put a flat roof under the slanted, especially if you are planning to get Seasons! Otherwise I´m afraid your sims will soon find out what a tropical storm´ll do to their house :D
