Some people just don´t have inhibitions. To them it´s natural to say what they meen and they hardly ever put their light under a bushel. I´m sure you can find sims who act excactly the same way and I wouldn´t be surprised if some of them gave name to this lot: Casa Esplendida

Desert Sports

Am I the only one who think EA´s lots very often takes up more valuable space than neccessary and even most of the time with only few good things?
In Lucky Palms forinstance they have placed an enormous fitness center on what may be one of the most prominent spots in town. I just had to replace it and thus I made a smaller but far more interesting one in a more appropriate place. I´m sure the millionaire sims will approve of it as they have now a large lot to build on right by the sea!
And regarding Desert Sports I´ve actually just give my "Simslille Fin Form"- fitness center an exterior makeover to make it fit the desert better. And frankly I expect more people to like this new version than the older scandinavian one. But be your own judge:

Bella Miranda, desert living

Having moved into Lucky Palms I have fallen in love with the thought of cohabitation in the old motel-like lot by the sunken lake. I think it´s ugly though so I have built another one next to it in the vain hope that the inhabitants feel inspired to give it a makeover.
Untill then let me introduce you to my own entry: Bella Miranda

It´s not exactly the place of the poorest sims, I suppose more the established singles, who want to live close to others or people who have retired from working life but still have a lot to offer to their community.

And of course I´m giving you the house, where the von Dickmeisses live, as well.
One this small 15x15 lot I´ve managed to get room for this:

The garden is decoration only, even though the family gets lost in it every now and then,  I wonder how they manage!

In the basement you´ll find a small pool and some training equipment. The´re´s also Johannes´ room and a very small puritanically decorated room for a butler. He gets gis good salary and don´t have time for relaxation anyway, the family seems to think!

On the ground floor you´ll find a kitchen, a diningroom, a livingroom and a toilet.

 The childrens´ bedrooms are on the first floor along with a bathroom and a tv-room.

And finally on the second floor you´ll find the master bedroom, and granny´s premisses each with a bathroom.

Tempohytten, CC-free version

As a lot of you guys try to go a little easy on the custom content, I have decided to offer you a cc-free version of the renovated Tempohytten.
It has become a bit less meringue-like without all those lace and knick-knacks, which is getting somewhat closer to my own personal taste. But I still feel a bit queasy when I look at it. I´m glad I don´t have to live there, even though I wouldn´t mind the garden.

From nothing to romantic shed

I have no Idea of the name of this house in other languages than danish, but it is from Appaloosa Plains, 19440 Carrotfield or something :)
The lot is my entry to a challenge at the danish site Sims 3 Byggeforum in which we could order our own challenge, selecting between a few given neighborhoods and whether we wanted to renovate an existing lot or build all a new. With these choices,  the dice were thrown and would decide how we were to fulfill our individual entry. I was told to go to the adress mentioned and renovate the house in a romatic style and this is what I have ended up with. I´m especially proud of the working fishpond/pool, as I have never done such a thing before.
Bella Rosenquist was just leaving her parents home with next to nothing in her savings. But she could buy this house and with the help from friends, a paintbrush, hard work and findings she turned the place into a gorgeous little den. She even managed to restore the small pond who used to be on her land before the big mashines came and turned everything into  flat land. The water is so clean, you can actually swim there, and the frogs may be returning soon!
