Casa Patate

Sometimes I fell like taken by a wave and the lots really crowds in my mind trying to get out. And actually the pretty world Monte Vista has been the perfect trigger for a wave like that.
This new house: Casa Patate is a starter for the young family with gardening interests:
It certainly is a starter though, otherwise shutters would have really helped on the looks
but you can add them, when the family can afford them.
As you can see, I have made a small family for the house: the Bottaio´s, Antonio, Theresa and young Giuseppina. The first thing they did, having moved into the house was to throw themselves in front of the TV. Ungreatful bastards.
On the first floor you´ll find the master bedroom and the only bathroom of the house.
But maybe you´d just like to see it all from the top:
The ground floor, where you´ll find an open Kitchen/dining/livingroom and a tiny nursery.
And the first floor with master bedroom and bathroom.

The house is built on a 20x20 lot and has as said 1½ bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen/dining/livingroom. And a small vegetable garden. the price is just under $19.000

No CC has been used but Store-items as well as stuff from all stuff-pack and expansion can occur. It wil be replaced if you don´t own the pack.

Casetta del Fiore

I don´t speak italian but Monte Vista sort of calls for italian names so I have decided to try to make the names of my lots in the Monte Vista style at least sound italian humbly hoping that they are not totally strange. As for this second, small house: Casetta del Fiore, which I hope meens the Flower Den of something close to that.
It is a small house ment for a single sim or maybe a couple and I have built it on a small lot of 15x10 tiles of which the house and the patio take all with only a 2 tile border surrounding the lot. Doing that, I figured, you can place it on larger lots if you want garden, carparks, sheds or whatever. It´ll be all your choice.
Casetta del Fiore has a combined kitchen/dining room, 1 bathroom, 1 livingroom, 1 bedroom and a lovely patio, and that´s it.
I have used quite a few plants for the patio and also decorated the place with what I thought would look nice and represent the style I wanted, so the price around $50.000 is not that cheap, but you can of course remove some of the stuff if you´d like the place for a starter.
No CC have been used but possibly Store-Items and things from all expansions and stuff-packs, which will be replaced with more basic stuff if you don´t own them.

Kandesøhus, a luxury commune

My latest contribution to Simslille is a commune called Kandesøhus. It´s the home of 5 talented young sims who found out that living together were much more fun than living alone.
They are all quited privileged, though, which you can tell by looking at the house. I´m sure that many youngsters IRL would give half an arm to live in a place like that. I suppose they come from rich families?
Here´s the house built in solid, rough materials like concrete, steel and redwood.
And from the other side in the night time:
And here are the five young people who live in it i my game:
Siw Brunse, who´s a soldier, but thinks about horses most of the time and hopes to become a jockey one day.
Sverre Visholm is a musician and rarely leaves the home without a guitar. He wants to play every instument there is on this earth, but so far he has spent his time perfectioning his guitar skills.
Uffe Krantz is a soft, friendly guy. Quite a nerd, actually. He´s good at computers, gardening and chess and works as a scientist. Uffe used to be Ea´s boyfriend, but she was far too tough for him and finally dumped him. And the poor boy was devastated for days. It seems that he´s back on track again, though. Maybe with a little help from his friend Siw who swopped rooms with Ea so he now has someone to talk to before he goes to sleep.
And Ea Ahlmann moved upstairs and made an atelier in her room in which she´s always busy painting her next fabulous picture. She´s so full of herself, really, so she´s quite satisfied, as it it.
Finally we have Elena Poulsen. She´s a police officer and very skilled at it. Her boss likes her, so maybe one day she can fulfill her dream and get a job at forensics. She´s not the most outgoing person, but maybe she has a rich inner life, her colourful taste indicates that. And even though she´s with the policeforce she´s quite a skilled hacker.

Julianesøhus

And of course I´m giving you the house, where the von Dickmeisses live, as well.
One this small 15x15 lot I´ve managed to get room for this:
The garden is decoration only, even though the family gets lost in it every now and then,  I wonder how they manage!
In the basement you´ll find a small pool and some training equipment. The´re´s also Johannes´ room and a very small puritanically decorated room for a butler. He gets gis good salary and don´t have time for relaxation anyway, the family seems to think!
On the ground floor you´ll find a kitchen, a diningroom, a livingroom and a toilet.
The childrens´ bedrooms are on the first floor along with a bathroom and a tv-room.
And finally on the second floor you´ll find the master bedroom, and granny´s premisses each with a bathroom.

Ildersøhus, Kystvejen 2

Here´s another house build for Simslille, the fabulous small society of mini lots.
This one is a modern single person´s retreat made as an entry for the famous Contest of Young Architecture in Sim York.
With it´s discrete choice of decoration and materials and even the very attractive price around $35.000 it should suit most single sims.

Hyldesøhus, Kystvejen 19

On the small Island, Simslille, built by MeresimP, I have placed this tiny and cosy cottage. It is the home of an elderly couple, Else and Poul-Erik Larsen, and their dear old dog, Tilly.
The house only has 1 bedroom, 1 living/diningroom, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. But also a well assorted vegetable garden.
The lot size is 15x15.
Why don´t you have a look around:
And take a closer look at the living/diningroom:
You can even see the kitchen from here:
And the bedroom which is tiny:
And by the way here are the Larsens:

At this picture they are joined by their son, Morten and his wife, Tina, their two grandchildren, Emilie and Jonas, their daughter, Merete and the old, but dear dog, Tilly.

The house may have Store-items included but no CC.

Now you´ll get 3 choices:

Flyndersøhus, yippie, yet another house for you guys

I know, I´ve slowed down quite a lot lately, but thats only natural, I suppose, after having produced such a number of lots since November.
With this one I´ve still had the world, Simslille, in mind, and it´s placed on Kystvejen 24. You can have it with or without the family it´s build for, the Schwalbes. Would you like to see it?

I´d also like to introduce you to the family who lives here: Meet the Schwalbes:
Father: Preben, mother: Line, twin daughters Katinka and Kamille and toddler son, Kalle.

Ellesøhus, - another house category

At the moment it seems that the houses I make are actually for worlds created by fellow sims freaks from the danish forum I frequently refer to, and this one is just another one in the row.
But the world I´ve made it for is another than the previous "The City" earlier mentioned.
This one is a small island called Simslille made by MeresimP. It is a pretty tiny community with mostly mini lots and we at the forum have all been invited to create residentials and community lots for it just as we would like them to be.
No sooner asked than done, I can´t let an invitation like that pass away without giving at least one entry. So here´s my first little lot for Simslille, Kystvejen 26: Ellesøhus
The lot is only 12x12 but who cares if you have a view like that! The ground floor contains a livingroom with open kitchen and diningroom and a bathroom.

On the first floor you´ll find two small bedrooms one of which is actually passage to the master bedroom. Follow the read more link, to see more pics.

Baghuset, get authentic!

This is a copy of a real house, I found on the site of a real estate agency. It is actually a back premises from the very old Copenhagen, when you, like in all bigger cities, I suppose, would build as dense as possible in order to get housing for all the previous farm-workers who came to the city to get work as a consequence of the industrialisation.
The houses were built in quarters with the most expensive and attrative in front and then back house after back house behind the first. The cheapest and poorest houses were of course those in the very back were the sun hardly even reached the roof. It was perfect nests for rats, rot and decease, no wonder the workers and their many children lived a short and sad life.
And then have a look at this baby!

Today this house has become throughout renovated. At least one, but more likely two taller houses in front of it has been demolished, so all of a sudden this tiny, lopsided building lies in the back of a wonderful yard with trees and playground and all the sun and fresh air you can ask for, who would have ever thought that was possible.
Hardly more than 60 m2, but rather attractive ones, + the stairs and the roof terrace, which of course was not exploited as a special treat back then either.
Actually I´m not entirely sure, that this house would have been for residence, it could as well have been workshop for a carpenter or a tailor or something. At least there is no sign of it having been a drivers premises with the coach in the ground floor, the horse in the first and the coachman in the second. But just imagine, people used to live like that once!

Damhuset, life as a grown up has to start somewhere!

...and why not here!
For almost nothing you can get your very own house and even a tiny garden and a pond along with it, now if that isn´t luxury!
When we were children most of us have probably been dreaming about leaving home and start on your own. In a fabulous house of course with all possible facilities and absolutely no worries about clean clothes, dinner, bills and so on. But most of us have also had to come to the conclusion that less than that is quite alright at least as a beginning. And can you imagine a world where a house like Damhuset is achieveable to a perfectly young adult, wow, that must be Utopia:

Friends

You just thought, you´d figured out what this site was all about and then I changed style! Or...sort of.
This time I have made a commune for adult sims who hate children. Well, I don´t actually know if they hate them, but there is certainly not left room for them in this house, whatsoever.
No, no, here we like peace and quiet, we like to have a nice cup of roiibos tea in our perfectly new african inspired living room, while we are debatting the financial crisis with our friends:

Smallville Police Station

Smallville Police Station
CC: Oldham curtains by Mutske/TSR
Kate Bathroom curtains by Angela/TSR
Prison cell windows by Cyclonesue/TSR
Rabbit hole replacement rug by Jynx/ Custom Sims 3
There aren´t many villains in a small town like Smallville, at most a teenager who have forgotten to go home at night or the worst kind, people who spit on the sidewalk and steel candy from the little children. But a town needs a police station anyway, not the least because of the good jobs that follows.

Get Smallville Police Station here...

Well, it turned out that I had to make a light version as well, if I wanted the thing in the Exchange, so you can get that one here. Basically I just replaced all CC with EA-stuff, except the rabbit hole replacement rug by Jynx/Customsims3.com.

Style & Tattoo

Today´s offer is a beauty parlor with a tattoo salon upstairs. I´ve tried to differ the two having in mind that they could be owned and run by two friends or siblings. The style is rather brothel-like, I think, and that was exactly what I was heading for. Before tattoos hat such a rennaisance they were considered really poor taste, it used to be naked women on the sailors´ arms or a heart with "Mother" written in it. And when I was a child hairdressers often hat this, well, in danish we would use a word like sultry, I have no idea if it can be used when in english? The meaning would be something like a bit (or actually very) common. I think, I have hit that pretty well.....no offense!

Mini, mini, mini

I love mini lots in case you didn´t notice. Today I have two small provincial town shops for you, one of them, The Three Little Fishes is a rabbit hole for grocery store, dressed up as a fishmonger. The other one: Pets and pud, well, the name says it, it´s a pet shop and not a rabbit hole.

Svalereden, a cute starter

I can´t blame you if you get a bit confused because of the lac of continuity in my row of builds.
I guess they just show a perfect picture of the inside of my head: A total mess, but at least with tiny spots of usefull ideas here and there.
Today I have made a new starter on a tiny lot. It´s called Svalereden (The Swallow´s Nest) because swallows always like to build their nests beneath the eaves of old houses like this.

Svalereden
